What on earth is the point of calling the BBC the “Baghdad Broadcasting Corporation”? How can people not see that the only way to move forward is to actually have real, intelligent debate on real issues? How can people focus so much on people’s alleged political colours and so little on what they are actually trying to say? terrorism” word games when it comes to this Iraq business. I simply cannot believe that people who apparently can have quite nuanced opinions on all kinds of other topics are so narrow-minded and systematically resort to “us vs. And, based on the little I’ve read today, I don’t really want to know. Today, for example, I checked out the “ Andrew Sullivan” web site and its “Daily Dish” of stuff that is allegedly “unfit to print”. Still, I sometimes venture to CHECK out some of the links it openly “endorses”. I do not agree with such practices and believe that they infringe on my rights to fairly use the products I purchase, in uses that are in full compliance with the law.Īnd I definitely do not agree on HMV.com selling me such products without any clear indication of their nature. There was absolutely NO INDICATION on the product page when I placed the ORDER that this item would be “copy controlled”. To my great surprise, when opening the package, I saw that the item above had a “Copy Controlled” label on it. My ORDER was shipped to me on the same day, and I received it today (March 4th). On February 26th, I placed an ORDER for XX items, including the following: Here’s a copy of an email message I sent to HMV.com earlier today:
